Hi! My name is Liberty and my husband is Freedom. We are homeschooling two amazing girls, Elgin, 18, and Melody, 12. We share our home with two lovely pets - our dog, trust and our cat, True. We own a small piece of property in a place somewhere in the world and we live happily and peacefully. Freedom and I earn a living doing regular jobs, and I especially love to dream up ways to escape the 9 to 5 world. (I should mention that I am self employed and work from my home part time leaving plenty of time for awesome learning with my kids. So I'm not always just dreaming).
Melody loves music and singing, horses, reading and dancing. She has been enjoying horseback lessons and her Frontier Scouts group.
Elgin is starting at a local community college in the fall. She is interested in their Liberal Arts program. She has many interests including Egypt, Terot and the French language.
At this point you may be wondering - are those really your names. The answer is no. They are not. They are simply words that represent things that we find important, or names we like for ourselves. I've decided to blog under pseudonyms to protect my family's anonymity. Maybe my opinions won't be popular. Maybe they will be wildly popular and there will be a book and a mini series! Either way, we'd like to continue living our happy lives in comfort and safety. So, if you happen to be one of those people who actually knows who we are, please don't blow our cover. Seriously.
